Notes

This was a presentation of an adaptation of Eduardo di Filippo's play by Keith Waterhouse & Willis Hall.
One of the central scenes of the play is set around a family dinner for which a considerable amount of real food had to be both prepared and eaten; much of the scene is in silence as the characters eat their main course. The pasta dish was provided by the award-winning Scarborough restaurant Lanterna Ristorante, which - due to the lack of kitchen space at the theatre - apparently delivered a vat of the dish prior to every performance.
