○ The Ballroom necessitated all the cast had to learn how to ballroom dance for the production. The image shows the company during practise at Scarborough Spa's Ocean Room.
○ An ‘orchestra’ was featured on stage, consisting of Musical Director John Pattison and five papier-mâché puppeteered figures. John would sit in place, unmoving, when audiences entered the auditorium giving the impression he was one of the puppets.
