Notes

Following the success of a production of Arthur Miller's A View From The Bridge in 1975 at the Stephen Joseph Theatre In The Round, The Caretaker was put in the schedule as a result of it being on the National Curriculum and being studied by schools in the Scarborough area.
The Caretaker had previously been performed by the company in 1962 at the Library Theatre - again directed by Alan Ayckbourn - and was the first professional production of a Pinter play to be staged in Scarborough.
The cast featured Stanley Page as Davies who had also played the same role in the 1962 production at the Library Theatre.
