Notes

> Following the success of a production of Arthur Miller's A View From The Bridge in 1975 at the Stephen Joseph Theatre In The Round, The Caretaker was put in the schedule as a result of it being on the National Curriculum and being studied by schools in the Scarborough area.
>
The Caretaker had previously been performed by the company in 1962 at the Library Theatre - again directed by Alan Ayckbourn - and was the first professional production of a Pinter play to be staged in Scarborough.
> The cast featured Stanley Page as Davies who had also played the same role in the 1962 production at the Library Theatre.
