Following the success of the world premiere of Anno Domino as an audio play earlier in the year, Alan Ayckbourn followed it up with a recording of his 1994 supernatural play Haunting Julia for Christmas.
The decision to create audio plays for both works being as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic during 2020 which closed all the UK's theatres. For Haunting Julia, Alan directed, produced, created the sound-design and recorded all the male voices with the final mix created by Paul Stear.
Haunting Julia was produced by Haydonning Ltd and streamed for an exclusive period by the Stephen Joseph Theatre via its website.
