Scarborough's Odeon Cinema: The Opening Night

Reproduced on this page is the opening night schedule of events for the Odeon Cinema in Scarborough on 28 March 1936. This was part of a souvenir programme given to patrons at the evening's opening ceremony and presentation of it first film, The Ghost Goes West.
Of particular interest is the sticker - added to the programmes after printing - noting the special appearance of the actor Charles Laughton, who happened to be visiting family in Scarborough at the time.
