Alan Ayckbourn has written 10 musical revues, the first 9 with the Stephen Joseph Theatre in the Round's Musical Director and composer Paul Todd. He then returned to the form more than a decade later in a collaboration with the composer Denis King.

Of all Alan Ayckbourn's revues, only
Me, Myself and I has been published although all the revues are available to produce (contact Casarotto Ramsay for details).

The Revues

Men On Women On Men (1978): A revue - originally performed in two parts, later combined - written with Paul Todd.
First Course (1980): One part of an unrelated duology - intended to be performed separately - written with Paul Todd.
Second Helping (1980): One part of an unrelated duology - intended to be performed separately - written with Paul Todd.
Me, Myself & I (1981): A revue - originally performed in three parts, later combined - written with Paul Todd.
Incidental Music (1983): A revue written with Paul Todd.
The 7 Deadly Virtues (1984): A revue - with seven substantial narrative songs - written with Paul Todd.
Boy Meets Girl (1985): One part of a duology - intended to be performed separately - written with Paul Todd.
Girl Meets Boy (1985): One part of a duology - intended to be performed separately - written with Paul Todd.
Mere Soup Songs (1985): A revue written with Paul Todd.
Cheap And Cheerful (1998): A revue inspired by seaside end-of-the-pier shows written with Denis King.
